Dorsal Atlântica is preparing Pandemia , a new album from the pioneers of Brazilian metal, made possible through a successful crowdfunding campaign that relied on the help of the band's loyal audience.
Before the project's release, which is still without a set date, a document about the album, along with an online magazine, will be shared with fans to provide more information about the record.
According to Carlos Lopes , the band's leader and most recent guest on The Wikimetal Happy Hour , the compositions couldn't be without a fitting cover, so the artist Cristiano Suarez . The artwork depicts equine royalty leading a donkey to power, with the mission of corrupting minds and souls. The coup d'état is supported by the judiciary, which condemns the opposition candidate; by the mainstream press; and by the Armed Forces commanded by gorillas. The canine people who rebel have their canines ripped out, and the pro-coup dogs wear equine wigs. This is Brazilândia.
